Church was amazing this weekend. So much so you may want to actually listen to the service when it's up (normally it takes about a week) saddlebackfamily.com you can use my login (I'll look it up and e-mail it to you).
Pastor Rick went over living your life, and sailing your boat (before it gets shipwrecked in the harbor).
I'm doing this from memory at work so it's probably not 100% as accurate as I'd like. (actually I know I'm missing 2 steps, I just can't remember what they are, but watch it, seriously, it'll help you focus)
Step 1) Stop Accusing and Excusing and start CHOOSING to live your life (you're as happy as YOU choose to be)
Step 2) Surrender your dream to Jesus
once you do this your dream will go through the 'phases of faith' where God is testing your trust in him.
1) Dream - you have a dream 2) Decision - you make the decision to act on the dream 3) Delay - something delays the dream, you have to wait for something 4) Difficulty - something gets in the way 5) Dead End - you ask yourself 'was this dream really from God?' and maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but at this stage it seems like all is lost 6) Deliverance - he gives you your dream, out of nothing comes a 'miracle'
Step 3) Start NOW - means today NOT manana
Step 4) Select a partner - you need someone to support you (Nathan's a good one :D, and you know I'm always there for you)
so the 6 step process just became 4 since I forgot 2, but seriously, it was one of those sermons where I walked out going, 'he was talking JUST to me' :D

you can get MP3's from Saddleback Musicians from free here (if you're interested) http://www.saddlebackfamily.com/magnification/index.html
Watch the service - http://saddlebackfamily.com/mediacenter/services/Default.aspx Getting Your Ship Out of the Harbor - amazing - watch it!
lol - ok I'm done (for now)
seriously though, I wouldn't put this much effort into getting you this information if I didn't truly think it'd help you with your dream. And if I didn't truly think this was a dream from God.
I believe there is a reason I registered for classes in the Fall of 2006, and am not again attempting to register TWO years later. Sometimes it just takes that long to realize a dream truly is from God, no matter what others say (or what you yourself say to yourself)

what's the dream?
we had a sermon today on dreams. It was powerful, definitely changed my perspective, now I have to act on the 'next steps.'
That's what I thought! :) I'm excited for you!

One last quote for you
~You can get anywhere if you simply go one step at a time
that's awesome
Read my post on credit cards - it's a quote from our Financial Peace University financial coordinator
I cut all my credit cards up and never intend to get them again. For more then just that post, but still, read it. :)
